Wine Tasting & Wine Tour

As a sommelier and winegrower, I want to offer you a holistic experience.

Where do the aromas in wine come from and why do different Swedish wines taste the way they do?

We start in the vineyard and I talk about how we thought when we planted, we look at the plants and talk about thinning, fertilizing, pruning, etc. Then we go up to the restaurant and pour wine that some of my industry colleagues have produced. I continue to talk about the choices you can make in the vineyard and then in the winery to get different kinds of wine.

The wine tasting is held on a small scale, with time for questions and conversation.

It doesn't matter if you are a beginner or a long-time wine enthusiast, the important thing is that you are curious.

Wine tastings Sundays at 1:00 PM 695 SEK/person for wine tour, 4 wines, cheese and cold cuts

Our wine

For now, we're dreaming about how our wines will taste. We're aiming for a fresh white wine, one that has been partially aged in Swedish oak barrels, a sparkling wine, and maybe a sweet wine if we're lucky.

With us you will find 4000 Solaris plants, a green grape that many Swedish winegrowers have in their vineyards. It blooms late and thus survives the spring frost and then it takes off and ripens in just 80 days. It is also a so-called piwi plant, that is, a grape variety that has good resistance to diseases. Wines made from Solaris have tropical notes such as melon, banana and elderberry. Pear, walnut and gooseberry are also common in both the taste and aroma of a wine from Solaris. When the grapes are harvested late, the wines tend to have a slightly sweeter tone and then honey, almond and pineapple will also become prominent.

We also have 100 plants each of Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. Anyone who knows their Champagne knows that these grapes, together with Chardonnay, make excellent bubbles. We envision replacing Chardonnay with Solaris and blending to create a lovely sparkling wine.

Finally, we have 500 plants of Sauvitage – a fairly new variety. It is also resistant and can withstand our Swedish climate. It produces wines similar to Sauvignon Blanc with gooseberries and tropical fruits combined with a mostly mild, harmonious acidity.

We look forward to serving our first wine in 2027.
