Discover Selaön
Ekebyviksbadet is one of Selaön's most popular swimming spots, perfect for families who want to swim in fresh water. There is a shallow sandy beach, a jetty, grassy areas for picnics and toilets. The swimming spot is easily accessible by car.
Visit a vineyard in the middle of Selaön with home-grown PIWI grapes such as Solaris, Rondo and Souvignier Gris. Sparkling wine, rosé, white and red are produced here. The farm accepts booked groups for tours and wine tasting. All wine ferments in steel tanks and is picked by hand.
Ytterselö Church on Selaön bears traces of almost 900 years of history. The Soop family on Mälsåker has left its mark through two burial choirs from the 17th and 18th centuries. Here you will find a rare sandstone baptismal font from the 12th century, a Madonna sculpture from the 15th century and a magnificent altarpiece from Antwerp, dated to around 1510. The choir is illuminated by stained glass windows signed by the artist Einar Forseth.
